 Executive: Mr. Eric Guglberger Founded: 1882 Website: www.hanhartusa.com SUCCESS SPRINGS FROM COURAGE 1882 Johann A. Hanhart founds his exclusive watch production in Diessenhofen, Switzerland. 1904 Hanhart shifts its enterprise into the clock center Schwenningen in the Black Forest. 1924 the first pioneering achievement: mechanical stopwatches. 1934 a further manufacturing site is created in Gütenbach (Black Forest). A LEGEND IS BORN 1938 Hanhart develops the unique one button chronograph (Primus). 1939 production starts for the first pilot chronograph (Tachy Tele). RESPONSIBILITY REQUIRES EXACTNESS 1948 a chronograph especially for doctors and officers is developed (Admiral.) 1962 Hanahrt becomes market leader for mechanical stopwatches. PIONEERS OF THE NEW TIME 1997 limited edition of the legendary pilot chronograph 1939 (Successor: Pioneer Caliber II.) 2004 two pioneers start a partnership: a new legend is born (Dornier by Hanhar). |
